A VIDA MERECE uma FESTA


Aniversários mudam com o passar dos anos. A festa pode ser grande ou pequena, durar uma noite inteira ou acontecer em volta de uma mesa. Mas algumas coisas permanecem: as pessoas que escolhem estar ali, os reencontros, as conversas, as risadas e a alegria de dividir aquele momento com quem faz parte da nossa história.

É isso que procuro fotografar.


Gosto de acompanhar a festa como ela acontece, sem transformar cada momento em uma pose. Observo os encontros, as expressões, a energia da pista, os detalhes preparados para receber os convidados e tudo aquilo que surge naturalmente quando as pessoas esquecem que existe uma câmera por perto.


Os retratos também têm seu espaço. A família reunida, os amigos de tantos anos, as pessoas importantes daquela fase da vida. Fotografias que talvez hoje sejam apenas bonitas, mas que, com o passar do tempo, ganham outros significados.


Porque um aniversário fala sobre a idade que chegou, claro. Mas fala principalmente sobre quem estava ao nosso lado quando ela chegou.
